The Lincoln and District League provides Sunday cricket for clubs in the greater Lincoln area. The teams are divided into five divisions, with matches played over 40 overs per team. The League caters for players of every standard; the Premier Division includes some of the leading cricket teams in Lincolnshire, whilst a growing number of clubs are using the lower divisions to develop their Academy sides, giving younger cricketers the chance to play in a competitive environment. Village cricket teams still provide the majority of clubs, and the League tries to support village cricket. The League is grateful for the umpiring of matches, provided by the Lincoln Umpires Association.
